Earnings, Advantages, and Privileges
The IFoSME Country President receives a high percentage of all yearly net membership dues paid by members in his or her represented country or area. Furthermore, he or she retains 80% of the other proceeds arising from business dealings under the auspices of IFoSME, i.e. from the organization of trade fairs, symposiums, conferences, international business trips, and others, as well as possible commission from Service Partners.
The Country President also enjoys many other advantages and privileges, including
- Obtaining importance and a high profile as the representative of IFoSME in his or her represented country or area;
- Benefiting from all IFoSME Premium Services as well as from a range of other profitable and complementary services;
- Receiving professional support from IFoSME;
- Proposing the appointment of a reasonable number of Vice Presidents in his or her country or area and arranging deals with these Vice Presidents, who receive their fair share of commission.
The most important duties and responsibilities of the Country President include
- To represent IFoSME in his or her country or area
- To observe and protect IFoSME’s interests in the context of his or her duties
- To win new members for IFoSME
- To construct new networks and/or expand existing networks of local IFoSME Premium Partners, in order to broaden the scope of services available to IFoSME members
- To contribute to the expansion and promotion of IFoSME’s reputation and high profile at both the domestic and international level
- To pay IFoSME a regular monthly fee, the size of which is determined by the size of the Country President’s represented country or area and the potential of SMEs in that country or area, and determined at the time of application for the Country President position
